Every successful TEAM has a leader and our team leader is Bode Olaniyan. Bode is a friendly and experienced professional who has spent over 20 years helping ambitious owner managed businesses like yours to profitably grow their revenue , improve their profits and minimise their tax bills while staying fully compliant with tax and accounting rules.
During his career, he found that too many business owners spend their time looking at accounts and data which tell them what has happened in the past , when they should be looking at accounts that help them make decisions about the future. He likens this to “driving your car with all your attention focused on the rear view mirror”.
It is this desire to help more business owners look forward and pro actively manage their growth, profitability, tax and accounting that drives our TEAM approach.

Bode Olaniyan
Managing Director
Bode trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick in Nigeria and went on to hold senior management, CFO and CEO roles with various companies in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, before he started abacus 59, Certified Practising Accountants & Business Advisors.
His education includes a Bsc (hons) degree from University of Lagos, and an MBA from University of Leicester. He is also a graduate of the Executive management Program at the University of Notre Dame (USA). Bode is a member of many professional bodies including the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA), the Federation of Tax Advisers (FTA) the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the ICPA.
He is married with two children, is a keen golfer and enjoys cricket and Jazz music.
